Blood Cancer United

We're all about blood cancer.

Blood Cancer United is an evolution of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, aiming to enable patients with blood cancer to gain more than one million years of life by 2040. Our mission is to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life for patients and their families through funding life-saving research and providing free support services. We have invested over $2 billion in groundbreaking research, helping those with blood cancer not only survive but thrive. Since our inception in 1949, we have made significant strides in the blood cancer community, with some blood cancers now curable and others manageable as long-term chronic conditions. We measure our progress not just by cures, but by the number of people who can live longer, more active lives after a diagnosis. Our organizational strategy focuses on funding innovative research and bringing together experts to help improve patient outcomes.
