Founded in 1945 and headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Do it Best is the only US-based, member-owned comprehensive and fully integrated hardware, lumber and building materials buying cooperative in the home improvement industry. The cooperative comprises thousands of member-owned locations across the United States and more than 50 other countries. Our mission is to make the best even better and help our members grow and achieve their dreams. In 2022, Do it Best relocated its world headquarters to the historic Electric Works campus in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. We are proud to be a part of the community revitalization happening in Fort Wayne.
