If I could give 10 stars on this review I would! After many years of being concerned about radiation from 4 nearby cell towers, old or poor electrical wiring and neighbors' wifi signals, I found Shane at Optimal Dwelling Spaces. I booked an appointment on line. Shane sent both an email and text reminder of the appointment. He came as expected, on time, carrying two large equipment cases, and an additional large backpack of gear. He then spent 2 /1/2 hours taking readings of RF radation, electrical fields, and magnetic fields, which included electrical wiring in my home, wifi router and all appliances. I received a 17 page report of findings with measurement data, ratings of those findings (from no concern to extreme concern) and recommendations for remediation. Shane is responsive and thoroughly professional. It has been an eye-opening experience to say the least! But I am so grateful to now know what is going on and exactly how to address the issues. Shane performed EMF inspections on two houses for us. He was willing to drive several hours in order to do so. I don't think there is a single electron anywhere on the property that is not noted, analyzed and categorized by Shane! He starts outside and identifies any and all EMF threats from throughout the electromagnetic spectrum. In our case, I was very surprised when he identified an EMF emitter way down in the VHF range. He then gave us a reasonable and affordable plan for remediation. As far as remediation, Shane does not engage in overkill. In that regard, he is very common sense. When it comes to house wiring, nothing escapes his notice. He knows how to ferret out any poor or even sub-optimal wiring, and is able to convey that information in very clear terms. My kids were with me, and they were able to follow much of what he shared. I cannot imagine there is anyone else in Shane's profession that matches his knowledge and experience.

I think the best part about Shane's service is that he will provide you with tools (based in science) that you and your family can use to keep your family safe going forward. What you learn you will use the rest of your life and I would bet that it will save you money in health costs down the road and maybe even add years to your life. We live in a country without safety regulations in this area unlike Europe. This was a new realization for our family and somewhat overwhelming. It's not something you can see or smell but large amounts of radiation can cause harm to your children and make existing health issues even worse as we age. We LOVE technology in our house but we needed to learn how to properly align our home to ensure we were not risking our health in the process. I think before this we looked at technology in a more is better mindset. We are shifting that idea the same way we would look at healthy eating and exercise. Thinking about a healthy approach going forward that is focused on safety, optimal health and longevity. I feel fortunate that a service like this exists and that I was able to have this inspection done. I know others may not be as fortunate.

We're building a new home and had questions concerning solar power and DE. Shane was very helpful in advising us about how to mitigate these issues as well as sharing other valuable insights for the installation of our electrical system.

Shane helped me evaluate a home for EMFs that we were thinking about buying. From having known him for a few years, and learning a lot from him about EMFs, I know he knows his stuff exceptionally well. I 100% trusted him to find any significant source of EMFs in the home that would cause a problem for our health. He has helped me in the past to remediate EMF issues in our current home, and it made a huge difference in my sleep and how I felt throughout my work day at home. Before the EMF mitigation, I felt a very uncomfortable prickling/tingling in my arms all the time when working on my computer, even though it was connected to ethernet. I also felt anxious/spacey when working on my computer or using my phone. He helped me figure out that it was a grounding issue with the computer and ethernet system, and that I would do better with an infrared keyboard. Once we fixed it, I can now work comfortably and at peace on my computer or while using my phone connected to ethernet. I also sleep so much better since we started turning off the breakers and ethernet at night. Just a few simple changes made a world of difference in my quality of life, and it was well worth the investment in his services. I would highly recommend a home evaluation and EMF consulting with Shane if you want to improve your health or maintain it! EMFs are the new cigarettes. They won't kill you today, but they will harm your health over the long term through oxidative stress. The research supports that. I get no kickbacks for saying any of this. I'm just a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist who has done my research and know how critical this is to long term health.

Shane Reilly did an incredibly thorough EMF home inspection for us in March of 2022. He put together a detailed report followed by a post consultation call. He answered my written post-inspection questions (emailed to him) before our call and provided links to every possible piece of equipment we will need to mitigate EMF exposure.
