Originally from the tropical state of Colima in Mexico, Alonso and Elsa Ochoa saved up enough money throughout many years to one day fulfill their dreams of opening up their own restaurant after working in many their whole lives. Their dream became a reality in 2004 when they were finally able to open their doors in Portland, OR. Their goal was always simple and a key to their success, 'To serve high-quality Mexican dishes with an authentic Colima taste in a family-friendly environment'. We've been fortunate enough to have created an atmosphere where friends can come together to celebrate birthdays, baptisms, weddings, or simply a family dinner on the weekend and feel happy every time they step foot through our doors. Over the years our sons Bryan, Miguel, Alex, and Braulio have helped develop our business and in 2018 we opened two new locations to better serve our customer base in the Pacific Northwest.
